I’m quite in the mood of electronic and soul music at the moment. It reminds me of the old beautiful days… Sound like an old woman huh ;p

Let’s add some touch of your personality on to the wall. Here’s some decoration idea for your home inspiration.

Hana Kim Painting

So happy

Home coming

Hanna is tired

Miss you

I’ll take a revenge

When I went to Seoul, Korea on March this year I had a chance to visit Arario Gallery in Samcheong. There’s lovely oil paintings and sculptures of a girl and her rabbit friend by Hanna Kim exhibited at the time. I love that her work was gentle yet full of emotion. I recommend you to read more about the exhibition here – The Triumph of Daily Life from pdf

I couldn’t find Hana Kim’s official site. However, this link is probably the best source you can read more about the artist.

Morning muse – My daily internet activities

Day to day I’m using so many social network sites, blogs and app. You can say I’m addicted to them.

BlogLovin

Every morning, first thing after i turn-on my mac I will go straight to BlogLovin. With that I will check all my rss feeds. I have this feeling, BlogLovin is more popular among those in fashion field. I’m not sure about design/art people what are they into? Tumblr, may be. The reason why I prefer BlogLovin is simply because of its minimal — easy to use user interface. I can access my account in any internet browsers. Mean I could check my rss from any computers available just to log-in with my account and they will always look the same.

Tumblr

After checking through all my rss subscription I will go to Tumblr. It is another visual inspiration hub where I will start warm-up my head to visual thinking mode. I also love that I will find some words of wisdom in here to.

Tumblr

With Tumblr, I also share. I have 3 blogs in here. 3 Things I am really into. I will collect what ever that related to the topic in my tumblr blogs. This make it easy to me when I want to refer back to what I’ve found.

Kafair

Kafair is a Thai word for coffee. At the time I start using Tumblr, I was in charge of managing a coffee shop. I thought what would be the best way to collect information, inspiration as well as sharing the findings to my partner then I though of Tumblr. As a consequence, Kafair is related to coffee, tea and what is related to afternoon’s break. They can be books, words, as much as packaging and interior design for shop outlets.

I later set automatic post from Kafair to my fb page, Precise Monkey. That was because I think artist/designer are coffee freaks I want to share with them some light content, like coffee things.

starting as an online journal for my coffee shop project. Kafair becomes a place for me to collect things relate to coffee and tea.

Yubobo

If you’ve seen Hayao Miyasaki’s animation – Spirited Away you must remember Yubaba’s big baby. His name is Yubobo. It is a joke in my family that my son, Yusuke is similar to Yubobo. At one point Yusuke has got a nickname after the baby. Yubobo blog is, of course, where I keep things relate to baby and kid, from clothing, gadget, and some cute baby picture or even baby animals.

Yubobo – baby gadget, gear, and fashion

Michiko Love

Michiko Love is what I refer to as my personal mood board. It is my pandora box. I kept things that makes me feel goo in here.

Michiko Love is my Pandora’s box (wink wink)

Pinterest

Lastly.… aha finally… I will visit Pinterest site. Pinterest is a big hit right now. I think this is because it is so easy to use and it looks very nice. And you know what, I am utterly in love with my pinbords!

Well, I’m utterly in love with my Pinterest board. Pls pay a visit and I will love you millions!

Here’s my morning muse internet activities. Hope you enjoy. Share with me yours, if you like. Next, I will update with you my iPad activities too. Things like iPad app I can’t live with-out. See you soon.

Hysteria Siberiana Thumblog

Today, during searching for some images of May Kasahara — a precocious teenager in Wind-up Birds Chronicle (a novel written by Murakami Haruki). I’ve come across a new blog to followHysteria Siberiana.

Here’s the introduction to her blog

Hi. I’m Aziza. And I paint. Murakami. Everyday.

Isn’t that a lovely idea for artists or illustrators? Pick up a theme or inspiration that big enough and that you are passionate about it enough to continue drawing series of that.

The paintings by Aziza are lovely. I found her May Kasahara is really spot on. Love it.

More cute stuff from Korea

When I go abroad theres two places i love to visit. First is pharmacy (the kind that has perfume and cosmetics) I love to see products that local people are using. In some country like Thailand you will see only medicine and medical cosmetics. But in country like Korea and Japan pharmacies are crowd with fancy cosmetics, big promotion, variety products. Too me it feels like fun park.

This cleansing oil came in 4 colors for 4 skin type. I haven’t tried it yet so don’t know if it’s good or not but the packaging is obviously awesome.

20120408-170130.jpg
Simple line drawing illustration is perfect for a product like this.

After that, I have to request myself to stop buying anymore cosmetics unless I will have weight problem at the airport. So back to the second place I love to visit when I go abroad is souvenir shop at museum and gallery. The kind that has stationery, greeting cards, toys, pen, bags and etc.

That’s about it for my Korea trip. In fact I’m quite ill while writing these posts but don’t want to postpone blogging any longer. So hope you enjoy that.

Too cool for school

A friend of mine whose a big fan of everything-Korea introduced me “too cool for school” a while a go. Since I made decision to go to Korea with my company trip I put “too cool for school” shop as my number one destination. The shop didn’t allow me to take photos inside otherwise I will have a much better images to share with you guys. However, let’s see what I’ve got to share with you here…

20120408-162507.jpg
Ive got a new cosmetics bag for myself that undoubtedly sent my old bag from Neo right to a trash bin. Sorry for that.

20120408-162748.jpg
“Play cheek angel blusher” this highlighter is a bit too bright for me. But because the packaging is so cute I can getaway with that.

20120408-163054.jpg
“too cool art class blusher” I’ve got this creamy blusher in pink color. Love to use it a lot.

20120408-163340.jpg
“one day tattoo eyebrow” this is a very cool liquid eyebrow liner that won’t disappear during the day. I would want some more of this magic pen.

20120408-163731.jpg
Facial mask that comes in mousse texture gives a really good experience for facial care. I love to say that it feels like real egg!

I’ve got other stuff from the same shop as souvenir for my sister and my mom too. If you love to shop cosmetics with strong branding, creative product, lovely illustration, quality product in really reasonable price Too cool for school is the must go in Korea.
